Learning About the Wolf Spider

I found a big wolf spider in the back yard today after my husband mowed the lawn. I caught him to show my son, Tate, who's 4. We set him free in the flower bed. I just HAD to share...

Well, Megan, Lisa (my sisters) and I headed to the Gem Show today. It's such a......magical place. I needed to stock up on some of my staples. I did. And more. And I only spent a little more than I intended to!

What I wanted but didn't get- Swiss and London blue topaz, moonstone, some HUGE lemon topaz onion brios, lots of chrysoprase, tourmalated quartz, and some HUGE labradorite nuggets...

We had a blast. We always do when we're together...

Look for these in my shop soon! I'm gonna make something CRAZY with that labradorite!

Connections

I was looking at Etsy's recently listed items and these little fellows scrolled right by, too fast for me to catch. I quickly refreshed and they were there again. Thank goodness. This is Harry and Houdini. My new friend Sandy on Etsy drew them.

This in my son Tate and his cat P Nut.

Needless to say, I bought it. The likeness is just too much. Sandy and I have written back and forth and found that we have some sweet little connections. This little experience has brought both of us, and my family, so much Joy.

Still here...

I'm still here. I've started watching my baby nephew during the week, and along with my 4 year old, Blog time is hard to come by! I miss it . I AM still making some great new jewelry though!
